My brother and I have a little hamster. We've noticed that she gently nibbles to express what she wants. For example, she usually eats her meals from my brother's hand. If she isn't satisfied with the food, she nibbles on my brother's fingers and refuses to eat. This is a funny moment when interacting with the little one, and I see it as an adorable, naughty trait that pet hamsters tend to have.
